On this year’s LogiMat XMC introduced the unique method of PikXtr@ to further prospective clients.
In numerous conversations and discussions about PikXtr@ we could show plenty doubters how fast and efficient PikXtr@ works in companies. Due to short presentations of PikXtr@’s potential the exhibition stall was filled with interested persons. The feedback was great and the awareness of the potential of PikXtr@ increased as well.
Without complicated interfaces and additional costs for IT and network technology PikXstr@ is capable of increasing the productivity in order picking more efficiently than the common ABC analysis.

21.08.2013 – Press release
OKLE, highly traditional grocery wholesaler headquarter in Singen/Htwl. supplies nearly 400 independent retailers in Germany and Switzerland with about 10,000 products within its logistics center in Singen.
Challenges for an efficient and prompt order processing are a continuously optimal placement structure for the items in a wholesaler’s warehouse to ensure a firm order picking with the existing personnel.
This means in practice that the items which are highly frequented must be reachable with the shortest distance within the warehouse.
XMC delivered the solution for this problem with its unique PikXtr@ solution.
The effectiveness of this method and the easy framework that PikXtr@ needs, convinced OKLE to follow the PikXtr@ path.
As the German partner of MDB-SCS, XMC accompanied the analysis of OKLE.
Already a short time after the restructuring of the storage positions the order picking time savings were noticeable and therefore of course a higher added value.
